Cleaning, maintenance and storage conditions of graphite electrodes
Before using the graphite electrode, check whether its surface is clean and free of oil, dust or other attachments. Wipe gently with a clean cloth or special cleaning agent if necessary.
During use, the oxide layer or deposits on the electrode surface should be removed regularly to prevent increased resistance and decreased thermal efficiency.
Storage conditions:
Graphite electrodes should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid moisture or corrosion caused by humid environment.
Avoid direct sunlight or high temperature to prevent accelerated oxidation of the electrode surface.
When stacking, keep the electrodes at a proper distance to avoid damage caused by friction or pressure.
