Manufacturing process of graphite electrode
1. Preparation of raw materials
The main raw material of graphite electrode is high-quality graphite, and its purity is required to reach more than 99.9%.
2. Mixing
The graphite powder and coke powder after screening and crushing are mixed in a certain proportion. The mixed graphite powder and coke powder need to be pressed and heated to form a hard graphite electrode blank.
3. Casting
The graphite electrode blank is cast multiple times. The casting process needs to control the casting speed, casting temperature and other parameters to ensure the quality of the electrode blank.
4. Processing
The sintered graphite electrode needs to be processed, including turning, boring, grinding and other processes.
