Tantalum rod brand classification

Tantalum rods are mainly classified into two brands, Ta1 and Ta2. ‌

Tantalum rods are mainly made of Ta1, Ta2, Ta3, etc., among which Ta1 and Ta2 are the two most common brands. The chemical composition of these two brands of tantalum rods is slightly different, as follows:

Ta1 brand tantalum rods have specific chemical composition restrictions, including no more than 0.005% of Fe, Si, Ni, W, Mo, Ti, Nb, O, C, H, and the balance of Ta.
Ta2 brand tantalum rods also have similar chemical composition restrictions, but the content of some elements is slightly different, such as 0.005% of W, 0.004% of H, and the rest is Ta.

These two brands of tantalum rods have their own advantages in application, and the use environment and specific requirements need to be considered when choosing.
