Tantalum foil processing methods include:
Chemical Etching Method: Using acid or alkaline etchants to process tantalum foil is suitable for making small-sized, high-precision devices, but chemical residues will be left on the surface.
Electrochemical Processing Method: Through electrolysis in an electrolyte, the surface of tantalum foil is ionized and dissolved on the anode, which is suitable for large-area, high-precision, and residue-free tantalum foil materials.
Laser Cutting Method: Using a high-power laser beam to process tantalum foil can achieve high-precision and high-quality results, but the processing speed is slow.
Electron Beam Cutting Method: Cutting tantalum foil with a high-energy electron beam can achieve high-precision and high-speed processing effects, but high-energy electron beam equipment is required.
Calendering Processing Method: The tantalum foil is placed between two rollers for rolling to make it tougher, but the pressure and temperature of the rolling need to be controlled.
