Raw Material Preparation:
Tantalum wire is produced from tantalum powder. These tantalum powders are usually prepared by powder metallurgy process and have a specific particle size distribution and particle morphology.
Therefore, the performance parameters such as chemical impurities, bulk density, porosity, etc. of tantalum powder need to be strictly controlled during the production process.
Plastic Processing:
Tantalum powder is made into tantalum wire through plastic processing methods such as rolling and drawing. In this process, the tantalum powder is compacted and forms a continuous filamentary structure.
Subsequent Processing:
After the tantalum wire is made, it may need a series of subsequent treatments, such as heat treatment, surface treatment, etc., to improve its performance and service life.
