ta bar cannot be processed by ordinary methods for processing general metals. Generally, the initial process is forging and heat treatment, and flat billets or round and medium-sized billets are made by hammering and stamping.
To manufacture tantalum rod products, the first step is to forge or extrude them into a moderate size in the middle, with a representative cross-section yield of 70%-90%, and then anneal the material for heat treatment. When processing again, forging, rolling, extrusion or drawing processes are usually used.
