Introduction to the oxidation resistance of Zhenan molybdenum tubes
Oxidation resistance: Under high temperature conditions, a dense molybdenum oxide protective film will form on the surface of the molybdenum tube. This protective film can prevent oxygen from further reacting with the molybdenum matrix, thereby giving the molybdenum tube a certain oxidation resistance.
However, as the temperature rises and the time increases, the oxide film may gradually thicken and peel off, resulting in a decrease in oxidation resistance. Generally speaking, below 600-800℃, molybdenum tubes have good oxidation resistance. Beyond this temperature range, special surface treatment or protective measures are required to improve their oxidation resistance.
