Introduction to high strength and high hardness of Zhenan molybdenum target
Hardness: The Mohs hardness of molybdenum target is 5.5, and the Vickers hardness (HV) can reach 300-400 (pure molybdenum). After alloying (such as molybdenum-lanthanum alloy), it can be increased to more than 500.
Strength: The tensile strength of molybdenum target is 520-620 MPa (pure molybdenum), the yield strength is 330-400 MPa, and the elongation is about 30%-40% (annealed state).
Influence: High hardness leads to increased tool wear during molybdenum target processing. Wear-resistant tools (such as CBN) need to be selected and cutting parameters optimized.
