The production process of molybdenum electrodes mainly includes raw material preparation, pressing, sintering and subsequent processing.
First, raw material preparation is the first step in the production of molybdenum electrodes. High-purity molybdenum powder needs to be selected as the main raw material to ensure the purity and quality of the molybdenum electrode.
Secondly, pressing is to press the prepared molybdenum powder, and by controlling conditions such as pressure and temperature, the molybdenum powder is pressed into a molybdenum billet with a certain shape and size. This step is crucial for the subsequent processing and performance of the molybdenum electrode.
Then comes sintering, where the pressed molybdenum billet is sintered at high temperature to allow metallurgical bonding between the molybdenum powder particles to form a dense molybdenum electrode.
