Product production process of nickel target
Raw material preparation
Select high-purity nickel as raw material to ensure that the purity of the raw material meets the production requirements to reduce the impact of impurities on the performance of the target material.
Smelting and casting Smelting: Put the nickel raw material into a vacuum induction furnace and melt it at high temperature to form a nickel melt. The melting temperature and melting time need to be controlled during the melting process to ensure the uniformity and quality of the melt. Casting: Cast the melt into a mold and obtain a nickel ingot after cooling. The casting temperature and casting speed need to be controlled during the casting process to obtain an ingot of good quality. Powder pressing: The nickel powder is molded and the powder is tightly combined by applying a certain pressure to form a blank target. This process requires controlling the pressing pressure and pressing time. Heat treatment
Heat treatment of the ingot or blank target, including homogenization treatment, annealing and other steps, to eliminate internal stress and improve the density and uniformity of the material. The heat treatment process requires strict control of the treatment temperature and treatment time.
Machining
The heat-treated material is subjected to mechanical processing, such as cutting, grinding, polishing, etc., to produce a nickel target of the required size and shape. The surface flatness and accuracy of the target need to be ensured during the machining process.
