Niobium is a precious transition metal with excellent high-temperature mechanical properties and chemical stability. It can withstand high temperature and high pressure and has a wide range of application prospects. Niobium plate has high hardness, good wear resistance, and exhibits good mechanical strength and chemical corrosion resistance under high temperature conditions.

Due to the extremely high melting point and good processing performance of niobium plate, vacuum melting (VIM) or argon arc melting (VAR) is usually used to produce niobium plate in production. The hardness value of niobium plate is usually around 140 Poisson hardness, which means that niobium plate has stronger wear resistance and corrosion resistance than other materials.
