Powder metallurgy:
High-purity tungsten powder (purity ≥ 99.95%) → Cold isostatic pressing (CIP) molding → Vacuum sintering (1600-2000°C) → Hot processing (hot rolling, forging) → Precision processing (cutting, grinding, surface polishing) → Quality inspection.
Melting method:
Electron beam melting (EBM) or vacuum arc melting (VAR) to prepare tungsten ingots → Hot extrusion/rolling → Target molding. This process is suitable for targets with higher purity requirements (such as 5N grade), which can reduce internal porosity and improve density.
