Classification of tungsten rod shapes
Round tungsten rod: the most common, with a diameter tolerance of ±0.01-±0.1mm, and the surface state is divided into black skin (sintered state) and bright (polished/polished).
Special tungsten rods:
Square rods/hexagonal rods: used for fasteners, wrenches, etc., with a side length of 3-20mm and a tolerance of ±0.05mm.
Step rods/conical rods: used for electrode tapered parts, requiring CNC grinding, with a taper accuracy of ±0.1°.
Surface state of tungsten rods
Sintered tungsten rods: rough surface with an oxide layer, used for subsequent processing of blanks.
Machinery-processed tungsten rods: smooth surface after turning/grinding, Ra≤1.6μm, directly assembled and used.
Plated tungsten rods: nickel-plated, gold-plated or coated with molybdenum disulfide on the surface to improve corrosion resistance or conductivity, used for electronic components.
