High hardness: Tungsten has extremely high hardness, which can reach HRA90 or above, or hardness HBS between 290 and 350, which makes tungsten tubes excellent in wear resistance and compression resistance.
High tensile strength: The tensile strength of tungsten tubes is also very high, generally between 981 and 1472MPa, and the tensile strength of some high-quality tungsten alloys can even reach 1520MPa or 1700MPa.
Ductility: Although tungsten has high hardness, its ductility is relatively poor, and the ductility is generally 10%-20%. Therefore, in some applications, tungsten tubes may need to be used in combination with other materials to enhance their overall performance.
