Temperature control precautions for zirconium wire heating
Cold working and hot working: Zirconium wire processing can be achieved through cold working or hot working. Cold working is suitable for cases with smaller deformation, while hot working is suitable for processing with larger deformation or complex shapes. But whether it is cold working or hot working, the temperature needs to be strictly controlled.
Cold working: Cold working may cause stress inside the material, so proper annealing is required to eliminate the stress.
Hot working: The hot working temperature is usually between 700°C and 1000°C. Too high a temperature may cause the zirconium wire grains to coarsen, affecting its mechanical properties.
