Polished Zirconium Foil

1. Vacuum induction furnace smelting: weigh the raw materials of high-purity rolled and high-purity zirconium, perform block pretreatment, obtain rolled and zirconium blocks, place them in a vacuum induction furnace for smelting, and then alloy and smelt the raw materials after they are completely melted to obtain alloy casting liquid;
2. Casting: Cast the alloy casting liquid in step 1 into a cylindrical billet or a rectangular billet, and take it out of the furnace after the vacuum induction furnace is cooled to 200°C to obtain an ingot;
3. Forging: Smooth the surface of the ingot obtained in step 2, and roughen it in parallel with the casting direction to obtain a slab;
4. Hot rolling: Use wire cutting or sawing machine Cut off the cracked edge of the slab obtained in step 3, and use a grinder to clean the surface oxide scale. Temper during rolling at a tempering temperature of 450-500℃. Anneal after rolling at a temperature of 450-500℃ to obtain a rolled zirconium alloy plate.
5. Cold rolling: After the annealed rolled zirconium alloy is processed into the required width, cold rolling is performed to obtain a rolled zirconium alloy foil. During the cold rolling process, the pass processing rate gradually decreases. The timing of stress relief annealing is determined according to the slag falling on the plate surface.
6. Leveling annealing: Level and anneal the rolled zirconium alloy foil after cold rolling under vacuum conditions.
