What are the key manufacturing processes of tungsten plates?

The manufacturing of tungsten plates mainly involves powder metallurgy and subsequent forming processes. First, high-purity tungsten powder (usually with a purity of more than 99.95%) is prepared.
Then, the powder is pressed into a preform using methods such as cold isostatic pressing (CIP) or die pressing.
After pressing, the preform is sintered in a high-temperature high-vacuum furnace (temperature is about 1600 - 2000°C) to increase its density and strength.
After sintering, the tungsten block is hot rolled at high temperature (above 1000°C) to reduce its thickness and improve its mechanical properties. Finally, cold rolling and annealing processes can be performed to achieve the required thickness, surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the tungsten plate.
