Classification of Tantalum Plate Products
Tantalum plates can be classified according to different classification standards.
Classification by chemical purity: Tantalum plates can be classified according to their chemical purity, including metallurgical tantalum plates, high-purity tantalum plates and ultra-high purity tantalum plates. The purity of metallurgical tantalum plates is 99.0%Ta, the purity of high-purity tantalum plates is between 99.0% and 99.9%Ta, and the purity of ultra-high purity tantalum plates is between 99.9% and 99.99%Ta.
Classification by performance: According to different performances, tantalum plates can be divided into chemical corrosion-resistant tantalum plates, high-temperature resistant and high-strength tantalum plates, anti-oxidation embrittlement tantalum plates and tantalum plates for capacitors, etc. These classifications reflect the specific performance requirements of tantalum plates in different application fields.
Classification by use: Tantalum plates can also be classified according to their use, for example, tantalum plates for solid tantalum electrolytic capacitors and tantalum plates for liquid tantalum electrolytic capacitors, as well as tantalum plates for capacitors with specific reliability indicators, etc.
Classification by Specifications: Tantalum plates can also be classified according to their specifications, including dimensional specifications such as thickness, width, and length. For example, the thickness of tantalum plates can be from 0.03-0.09 mm for foil, 0.1-0.5 mm for sheet, and 0.5-10 mm for plate.
