Processing technology of molybdenum-copper alloy rods
1. Material preparation: Select high-quality molybdenum-copper alloy billets, clean and pretreat the raw materials. Cleaning is mainly to remove surface dirt and oxides, and pretreatment is to repair defects.
2. Forging: Put the pretreated molybdenum-copper alloy billets into the forging equipment for heating. Generally, the hot forging process is adopted to heat the alloy to make it soft, and then perform pressure processing to form it. During the forging process, the temperature, pressure and shape need to be controlled to ensure the quality and performance of the rod.
3. Heat treatment: The molybdenum-copper alloy rods after forging need to be heat treated. Heat treatment is a method of heating and keeping the alloy warm, and then rapidly cooling it to change its internal structure and properties. The heat treatment of molybdenum-copper alloys generally includes aging treatment, solution treatment, etc., which can improve its hardness, strength and wear resistance.
4. Surface treatment: The surface of the molybdenum-copper alloy rod is treated, mainly to remove surface oxides and defects, so that the surface is smooth and flat. Surface treatment generally includes polishing, grinding, sandblasting and other methods.
5. Inspection: Strict quality inspection is carried out on the processed molybdenum-copper alloy rods. Inspection items generally include dimensional accuracy, appearance quality, hardness, chemical composition, etc. Only molybdenum-copper alloy rods that have passed the quality inspection can be put into use.
