Zhenan Molybdenum Wire Product Production Process
The processing process of molybdenum wire mainly includes raw material preparation, smelting, extraction of molybdenum powder, powder metallurgy, molybdenum rod forming, drawing molybdenum wire and other steps.
Raw material preparation: The raw material of molybdenum wire is mainly molybdenum ore. Through ore dressing, flotation and other processes, high-grade molybdenum concentrate is obtained.
Smelting: The molybdenum concentrate is smelted with other fluxes at high temperature to produce molybdenum intermediate products such as molybdenum iron alloy or calcium molybdate.
Extracting molybdenum powder: Chemical treatment of molybdenum intermediate products to extract high-purity molybdenum powder. Commonly used methods include ammonia oxidation method, hydrochloric acid leaching method, etc.
Powder metallurgy: The obtained molybdenum powder is pressed and pre-sintered to form a blank. Subsequently, it is burned at high temperature under vacuum or inert gas protection to obtain a densified molybdenum blank.
Molybdenum rod forming: The molybdenum blank is processed into molybdenum rods through forging, extrusion and other processes, which is the intermediate for manufacturing molybdenum wire.
Drawing molybdenum wire: At a specific temperature, the molybdenum rod is gradually thinned by a drawing machine until the required molybdenum wire diameter is reached. During the process, multiple heat treatments are required to adjust the mechanical properties of the molybdenum wire to obtain a molybdenum wire product that meets the requirements.
