Material selection:
High-purity nickel materials should be selected to ensure the high-temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of nickel crucibles.
Processing temperature:
During the processing, the temperature needs to be controlled to avoid deformation or cracking of the nickel crucible. Especially during welding or heat treatment, the temperature should be strictly controlled within a safe range.
Avoid mechanical shock:
The nickel crucible should be protected from mechanical shock during processing to prevent it from breaking or affecting the use effect.
Pretreatment:
New nickel crucibles should be pretreated before use. Usually, they should be burned in a muffle furnace to a blue-purple color to remove oil stains on the surface, then boiled with 1:20 HCl for a while, and then rinsed with water. This can extend the service life of the nickel crucible and form a protective oxide film on its surface.
