Electrolytic cobalt production process flow
The production process flow of electrolytic cobalt flakes can be further divided into the following steps:
Liquid preparation: The cobalt-containing raw materials (such as cobalt ore) are converted into soluble cobalt salt solution through chemical treatment.
Decontamination and purification: The obtained cobalt salt solution is filtered, decontaminated and purified to remove impurity elements.
Electrodeposition: The pure cobalt salt solution is injected into the electrolysis tank and electrolyzed with direct current. The cobalt ions are reduced to metallic cobalt on the cathode.
Washing and drying: After removing the residual solution, dry and press or cast into the desired shape.
Post-processing: Further purification and processing to produce high-purity cobalt products.
