In addition, the surface finish of tungsten foil prepared by various deposition methods is high, but the density of the film is low and the deposition rate is slow. During the preparation process of rolling and mechanical grinding and polishing, work hardening layers and residual stresses are easily generated on the surface of the foil film, and there are serious problems such as crystal orientation and dislocation. In addition, due to the high hardness and extreme brittleness of tungsten, mechanical processing is still difficult. Therefore, the electrolytic polishing method is preferred. This method is based on the principle of anodic dissolution to remove metals. It is suitable for metals of any hardness and can remove surface hardening, defects and contamination problems.
