The firing process of high-density tungsten alloy mainly includes the steps of mixing, molding, sintering and subsequent treatment.
High-density tungsten alloy is an alloy material composed of tungsten as the base material (containing 85%\~99% tungsten) and a small amount of metal binders such as nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), molybdenum (Mo), and chromium (Cr). 12. The specific steps of its firing process are as follows:
Mixing: Evenly mix raw materials such as tungsten powder, nickel powder, and iron powder (if the product has magnetic requirements, copper powder can be added instead of iron powder).
Molding: The mixed powder is molded into the desired shape by pressing, extrusion or injection.
Sintering: The molded body is sintered at high temperature to make it dense. The sintering temperature is generally 1400\~1600℃, and a liquid phase is produced, which is conducive to the densification of the alloy.
Subsequent processing: The sintered product may need to undergo processing, vacuum sintering, quality inspection, subsequent processing and other steps to obtain the final product.
