Anti-oxidation treatment and maintenance of graphite electrodes
Anti-oxidation treatment:
Graphite electrodes are prone to oxidation reactions in high temperature environments, so measures should be taken to slow down the oxidation rate during use.
Anti-oxidation coatings can be applied to the electrode surface or a protective atmosphere can be used to reduce the oxidation rate.
Regular inspection and maintenance:
Periodically conduct a comprehensive inspection of graphite electrodes, including appearance inspection, dimensional measurement, and resistance testing to evaluate their performance status.
If any abnormality is found, such as cracks, breaks, or severe oxidation, measures should be taken immediately to treat or replace them.
