The main component of niobium rod is niobium (Nb), and usually contains a small amount of other metal elements, such as iron (Fe), silicon (Si), nickel (Ni), tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti), tantalum (Ta) and oxygen (O), etc. The content of these elements is very low to ensure the high purity and excellent performance of niobium rods. For example, the content of iron should be less than 0.004%, the content of silicon should be less than 0.004%, etc.

The purity of niobium rods usually reaches 99.95% or higher, and some can even reach 99.99%. The specific values ​​of its chemical composition are as follows:
Nb1: The main element is Nb, and the impurity content is ≤0.004% of Fe, Si, Ni, W, Mo, Ti, Ta and O, as well as ≤0.012% of C and H, and ≤0.0035% of N1.
Nb2: The main element is Nb, and the impurity content is ≤0.01% of Fe, Si, Ni, W, Mo, Ti, Ta and O, as well as ≤0.015% of C and H, and ≤0.0015% of N1.
These ingredients ensure that niobium rods have excellent properties such as good electrical conductivity, ductility and corrosion resistance, making them widely used in aviation, aerospace, nuclear industry and other fields.
