1. Material selection
Niobium tubes are usually made of high-purity niobium materials. Common niobium materials include Nb-1Zr, Nb-10Zr, Nb-1Ti, etc. High-purity niobium materials have the characteristics of high strength, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, and good low and high temperature performance, which can ensure the quality and life of niobium tubes during long-term use.
2. Processing technology
The processing technology of niobium tubes includes cold drawing, hot extrusion, welding and other links. Cold drawing is the most commonly used processing method, which can make the niobium tube have higher dimensional accuracy and better surface quality. Hot extrusion uses high temperature and pressure to plastically deform the niobium material to form niobium tubes of different shapes. The welding method uses high-frequency induction heating or argon arc welding to connect the niobium materials.
3. Surface treatment
The surface treatment of niobium tubes usually includes mechanical polishing, electrolytic polishing, pickling and sandblasting. Mechanical polishing and electrolytic polishing can improve the surface finish and flatness of niobium tubes and improve the corrosion resistance of niobium tubes. Pickling and sandblasting can remove impurities such as oil and oxides on the surface of the niobium tube to ensure the cleanliness and flatness of the surface of the niobium tube.
