Compared with pure molybdenum, TZM alloy has better heat resistance, higher recrystallization temperature, excellent creep resistance and good welding performance.
Titanium and zirconium play the role of solid solution strengthening and carbide dispersion strengthening in the alloy, which makes TZM alloy have excellent high temperature strength and high temperature mechanical properties.
