Basic classification of pure zinc wire
1. Classification by production process
Pure zinc wire can be divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and cold-dip galvanized wire according to different production processes. Hot-dip galvanized wire is to heat zinc and substrate together to 800-900°C to melt, and then immerse in molten zinc for galvanizing. It has the characteristics of uniform coating and large coating thickness; while cold-dip galvanized wire is to electrogalvanize the substrate after pickling, copper plating, drying and other processes, and has the characteristics of thin coating and smooth surface.
2. Classification by specifications
The specifications of pure zinc wire are divided into multiple aspects such as diameter and length. Common diameter specifications are usually 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 2.0mm, etc., and the length is generally customized according to customer needs.
3. Classification by use
According to different uses, pure zinc wire can be divided into electrical zinc wire, construction zinc wire, packaging zinc wire, etc. Electrical zinc wire is mainly used to make electrical equipment such as wires and cables, construction zinc wire is mainly used to build steel structures, fences and other construction projects, and packaging zinc wire is mainly used for bundling and binding in the packaging industry.
