Production process of zinc wire
1. Raw material preparation and pretreatment
Raw material selection: Select high-quality low-carbon steel as raw material to ensure that the zinc wire is both flexible and strong.
Pretreatment: Perform pretreatment procedures such as cleaning and degreasing on the raw materials to remove surface impurities and grease to ensure the surface is clean and smooth.
2. Drawing forming
Drawing process: The pretreated raw materials are drawn into iron wires of the required diameter through a drawing machine, while increasing their strength and hardness.
3. Pickling and rust removal
Pickling treatment: Soak the drawn iron wire in an acidic solution to remove iron oxide and other impurities on the surface and improve the bonding strength between the zinc coating and the iron wire.
4. Galvanizing treatment
Hot dip or electroplating: Immerse the pickled iron wire in molten zinc liquid or form a zinc layer on the surface of the iron wire through the principle of electrolysis.
V. Cooling and finishing
Cooling: The galvanized iron wire is quickly cooled by cooling equipment, which helps the solidification and fixation of the zinc layer.
Finishing: The cooled iron wire is sorted and stretched to ensure a smooth surface.
