Plastic processing: The blanks must be prepared through powder metallurgy processes (such as pressing-sintering), and then processed into tungsten plates by hot rolling, cold rolling or forging. Pure tungsten plates are difficult to cold process and require intermediate annealing.
Cutting: Carbide or diamond tools must be used with cooling lubricants, and the processing efficiency is low.
