Notes on zirconium tube welding
During the welding process, the following aspects should be noted:
(1) The welding machine electrode should use copper-free or low-copper electrodes;
(2) The welding environment should be kept dry, dust-free, and fresh;
(3) The preheating and heat treatment steps should be properly controlled to prevent pipe deformation or cracks;
(4) The selection of filling materials should be appropriate, generally using the same material as the zirconium tube;
(5) Post-heat treatment should be performed after welding to eliminate stress and improve the strength and toughness of the weld.
